Auditorium

I found this a while ago, just forgot to post it. (Actually, I did post it. I just didn't so into detail.)

Auditorium is a game with light and sound combined. You try to lead the streams of light towards the bars, and then it starts filling up the bar with the light, which makes a sound. There are multiple bars, so you try to bend and use the light to hit all the bars, which makes a symphony of sounds. As you get further into the game, there are more sounds, and the sounds make more complex music. They arent just straight, yellow beams of light. Oh, no. They're glowing, flowing, and multicolored. It's pleasing to the eye and sounds nice. At the moment, it's down for maintenance. When it's up again, play!

My font is Helvetica, which is apparently a boring font. My favorite one is Mrs. Eaves. :)

Here's another link to "Perfect Balance". It's a physics game, and you just take the shapes and balance them. I expected it to be frustrating, but the game is so zen that there was no violence involved. It also makes a little ringing sound when the shapes are dropped onto another shape. I am on level 22/40 right now.

Eyezmaze Tower and Flash Cat

Yes! A new eyezmaze game came out, "Grow Tower". Devan found it yesterday. And a new Nitrome game!

The Nitrome game, Flash Cat, is a 3D race track in pixels, where your racing mobile(a pink green legged bug) scuttles and jumps through power-ups and tries to get you to the end as fast as possible. You, the cat, steer the bug so it doesn't fall off the racetrack. Space to shoot, left and right arrow keys to steer, up arrow key to jump, and down arrow key to brake. (Link below)

For those of you who have never tried a grow game, what you do is click one of the icons/options. Then click another, and another, until they have all been clicked. Depending on the order you click them, different things happen. There's one ending for each game(sometimes 2) and you try to reach the end to get there. Since there are so many combinations, sometimes you have to logically figure out what would work with what.

Ex. 3 Options are(there are usually more): seed, water, shovel (usually you don't know the function of what you click on. So basically, its usually not this easy)

Possibility 1
1. Seed (seed falls on ground)
2. Water (rains on ground, grows grass around seed) (seed upgrades, sprouts flower)
3. Shovel (digs up grass) (water upgrades, rains again) (sometimes not everything upgrades)

Possibility 2
1. Shovel (Digs hole)
2. Water (fills hole and makes pond)
3. Seed (seed floats on water and some random frog swallows it) (water upgrades, floods)

You know, stuff like that. But much more creative and fun and wonderfully animated! It's always fun to try different things because its different for every combination.

Pixel Pop

New Nitrome game, again. o_o

Pixel Pop - Its a mini-game with a bunch of different levels. Turn up the volume, because rhythm is a big part of this game. (My sound isn't working at the moment though, so I'm not sure how much you'll depend on it) Anyway, Its got a lot of random things. Like karate-chopping apples and fruit(while dancing), zapping farmers, or smashing little flying planes(also while dancing). This game is very retro-looking, and its even more pixelized than usual. Very colorful, although frustrating. :)

Ice Breaker - There are vikings. Click and drag to cut ice, and help the vikings get back to their ship. And when the frozen vikings fall into the ship, this big viking with a hammer breaks the ice, and they all ride away.

New Year's Resolutions

Hey, I just realized resolutions is Re-solutions too since I had a little typo on the title. So new solutions again! Haha. Anyway, I asked some of my friends whether they could come up with 100 resolutions. No one replied yet, so I wrote some down in a notebook. Here they are so far. Feel free to comment about them or say your own resolutions(100 maybe?).
